Meet Our Herd
At Grit-n-Grace Farms, our Nigerian Dwarf goats are a family passion, sparked in 2022 as a 4-H project for our kids. Registered with the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA), Maisey, and Fiona shine in competitions and charm with their friendly natures. Raised with sustainable, family-driven care, they were originally purchased with the intent to provide creamy milk for our handmade goat milk soap and cheese, however we have since focused primarily on keeping them as companions and showing at our local county fair. 2025 marks our first breeding season and we look forward to babies being born this fall. Goat kids make perfect companions for 4-H families, homesteaders, and pet owners. Our children proudly care for and show these goats, learning responsibility and entrepreneurship through every fair season.

Our Mamas
-
Maisey
Maisey is one of our very first goats. She has won Grand Champion in her breed class the last 2 years at our local county fair and is a delight to work with. She’s a beautiful little doe with her blue eyes and moon spots. We look forward to seeing what her kids will look like this fall.
-
Fiona
Fiona is also one of our first goats. This little blue eyed doe was chosen by my son and has finished in the top 2 in breed at our local county fair. She is a delight to be around and likes to assert herself as the queen of the herd. We look forward to seeing what her kids will look like this fall.

Bearli
Bearli is new to the farm. She arrived earlier this year in 2025. She is older than our other 2 does and doesn’t put up with their crazy antics for very long. She brings a bit of calmness to the trio. We will be keeping a very close eye on her this fall as she has a history of needing assistance during kidding.
